About 30% of modern exotics cut asks this week — only ~3% went up

The week in one number

Something shifted on the exotic board this week — and it moved fast.

We matched the same modern listings week-over-week (model year 2011+, Ferrari + Lamborghini + McLaren, US/Canada). Of 725 cars still on the board:

  • 217 (29.9%) dropped their asking price
  • 21 (2.9%) went up
  • 487 (67.2%) held flat

Round it for the headline: about 30% cut asks, only about 3% raised them.

Same cars, not a crash

This is not a story about inventory vanishing or a long, slow slide in medians. These are already-listed cars where the sticker moved. Same VIN / same listing — lower ask.

That pattern showed up across the three brands we watch most closely. Ford GT stayed out of the spoken read for this cut (different tape).

What to do with it

If you have been watching a modern Ferrari, Lamborghini, or McLaren, do not assume last week's number is still the number. Pull the live board and check again.
