Ferrari 812 asking prices got softer this week, and the cuts did not stop overnight.

This take covers 812 Superfast coupes and 812 GTS open cars only. It does not include Competizione. The Reel rounds the week to about 3.5% across roughly 200 cars. The desk numbers below are the exact print: −3.4% across 201 cars.

The week, Sep 22 to Sep 29

Across the 812 Superfast and GTS cars we track:

  • Asking prices fell 3.4%, about $23,600
  • The middle of those asking prices is about $725,000 ($725,360)
  • 201 cars in the book
  • That is the softest large model we are tracking right now (Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, and Ford, among books with at least 15 cars)

Split by body, same window:

  • Superfast coupes: −3.4% (69 cars)
  • 812 GTS: −2.4% (139 cars)

So the open cars are a little less soft than the coupes on a percentage basis, but both sides of the 812 book moved down.

Overnight, Sep 28 to Sep 29

The weekly slide is not just a slow drift. From Sep 28 to Sep 29, 17 of the same 812 listings took a real price cut of at least $1,000.

  • Combined markdown: $367,578 (about $368,000, which is the figure in the Reel)
  • 10 of those cuts were 812 GTS
  • 7 were Superfast

One junk row was left out: a Palm Springs 812 whose asking price showed $37 (VIN `ZFF83CLA6K0238536`). That is not a real cut, and it is not in the 17.

The Coral Gables car

The clearest single move is a 2023 Ferrari 812 GTS in Coral Gables, about 170 miles, VIN `ZFF97CMA6P0291896`.

  • $1,101,294 → $1,031,294
  • −$70,000 in one day
  • Same car, not a different listing

The same dealer also cut two more 812 GTS cars overnight, by $35,000 and $25,000.

How this sits on the Ferrari board

The 812 book is the sharp part of the story. Ferrari asking prices as a whole were only off about 0.7% over the same week, and the number of cars listed was up 61.

Over those seven days, 238 of 764 Ferrari cars we could match to themselves were cut — about 31%. McLaren and Lamborghini were closer to 18% with a cut. More Ferrari listings are being marked down, and the 812s are where the dollar move is easiest to see.

What this is not

This is asking-price tape, not a sold-price report. A lower ask is a dealer moving the number. It is not a completed sale.

It is also not the Sep 18 story (one Charlotte 812 GTS cut $200,000, with 20 other GTS cuts) or the Sep 21 auction-versus-list Reel. Those were different days and different cars. This week’s print is the whole Superfast + GTS book, plus a fresh overnight wave led by the Coral Gables car.
