Ferrari F12 jumps from $183k to $500k on Bring a Trailer

One bid took this F12 from around $183k to $500k. Thin bidder history. Still live when we published.

This weekend on Bring a Trailer, a 6k-mile 2015 Ferrari F12berlinetta is drawing a lot of attention for the wrong kind of reason.

As of Sunday morning, the live bid was $500,000. That number did not climb there in a normal way. On Darren's read, the car was around $183,000 yesterday — then one bid jumped it straight to $500,000.

The jump

The $500,000 bid is from JettJolene. Darren's read is that this bidder has very little history on BaT, and this looks like their first exotic. The seller, other bidders, and the comments are openly questioning whether the bid is legitimate. The seller says he has no involvement. That sits against recent questions about auction manipulation on Bring a Trailer.

Still live

When we published this take, the auction was still live — it had not printed a final result yet. We are not calling a hammer price. If you are watching it, check the BaT listing for the live board.

Why it matters

F12 asking prices have been soft lately. A sudden jump from the high-$100ks to $500,000 on a thin-history bidder is exactly the kind of tape the community watches closely — not because the car is uninteresting (dark matte grey, black/red, low miles is a strong look), but because trust in the bid itself is the story.
