Ferrari auction prices are cooling off

Prices peaked in August. Now more cars are showing up on Bring a Trailer, and fewer are selling. Sellers want August prices, and buyers aren't paying.

After a flat 2025, Ferrari auction prices took off in January.

We matched 395 US and Canadian auction results from January 2025 to October 10, 2026, mostly from Bring a Trailer, and compared each sale with similar cars from early 2025: same model family, similar age and similar mileage.

Up about 60%, then a step back

  • Through 2025, prices barely moved, staying within about 10% of where they started.
  • From January 2026 they climbed steadily, and by August similar cars were selling for about 62% more than in early 2025.
  • Since then they've slipped about 8% from that peak. September and early October both came in around 50% above early 2025.

What it means

More sellers are listing, hoping for August prices. Buyers aren't paying them, and more cars are going home unsold. October is only ten days in, so we'll keep watching.
