What Alpine showed

Alpine revealed the A310 Vision at the Paris Motor Show on October 12, 2026. It's a one-off two-seat design concept that reworks the 1971 A310. It is 4,550mm long and 1,180mm tall, and it's built on Alpine's new electric sports car platform. Alpine hasn't released power or price.

Production odds

Alpine says the car is not a production preview. Its design boss, Antony Villain, told Autocar "there is room" for it.

Why it splits purists

The A310 is an enthusiast nameplate, and this version sits on an electric platform. For some buyers the name and the shape are what matter. For others, a classic sports car name on an EV doesn't fit. With no power figures, no price and no production commitment, there's nothing yet to settle the argument.
