About two in three Ferrari sellers we track have cut their asking price in the last 30 days, and it's closer to seven in ten for the 812, 458 and 488. The 812 and 458 are down about 4%, the 488 about 3%, while the wider exotic market is holding flat.
Fall is here, and Ferrari sellers seem to be feeling it. We followed the same cars over the last 30 days (Sep 19 to Oct 19, US and Canada), and roughly two out of three Ferraris have come down on price. That rises to about seven in ten for the 812, 458 and 488. The 812 and the 458 are both asking roughly 4% less than they were a month ago, and the 488 is about 3% lower. These aren't scary drops, but they add up when nearly every seller is moving the same way.
Before anyone calls it a crash: it isn't. Across the exotic market as a whole, asking prices are basically flat over the same stretch. Lamborghini and McLaren are both holding roughly steady. This is a Ferrari story, centered on the V12 812 and the mid-engine 458 and 488.
So are buyers finally getting the upper hand? If you've had your eye on one of these, the fall slowdown could be a good time to start a conversation, especially with a seller who has already cut once. Just remember these are asking prices, not final sale prices. Watch the quick breakdown below, then check our Ferrari pages to see how the rest of the lineup is moving.
