The SLS AMG Roadster is the open version of the SLS AMG, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. It swaps the coupe's gullwing doors for conventional doors and a three-layer fabric soft top that opens or closes in 11 seconds, even on the move at up to 31 mph. To make up for the missing roof, AMG thickened the side skirts and added struts behind the dashboard, a brace between the soft top and the fuel tank, and a cross-member behind the seats that carries the fixed roll-over protection. It weighs 40 kg (88 lb) more than the coupe and uses the same 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, rated at 563 hp, or 583 hp in the later SLS AMG GT Roadster.

Live bids and estimates are shown as each auction house publishes them, in its own currency; a live bid is not a final price. International lots keep their own currency and are never compared with US prices. Results are public auction outcomes (for cars that did not sell, Price is the high bid) and are separate from the asking prices on this page.
