Bugatti Rimac has appointed Hendrik A. Malinowski as its chief commercial officer, the Bugatti Newsroom announced on Oct 14, 2026. Malinowski has been at Bugatti for more than 14 years, including a spell as managing director and the last four years as commercial director of Bugatti Rimac.
- What he now runs: sales and sales operations, aftersales, customer experience, the global dealer network, and brand, marketing and communications, plus Bugatti International, the lifestyle arm.
- Related move: former Tourbillon exterior design lead Jan Schmid has become director of brand, marketing and communications.
- Why it matters: the change puts every customer-facing function under one person as Bugatti enters the Tourbillon era and grows its Programme Solitaire one-offs and La Maison Pur Sang heritage work.
"What BUGATTI has achieved in recent years is, above all, the work of a team," said Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac, crediting the commercial departments Malinowski has led.

What it means for buyers
For owners, the practical point is that aftersales, certification and dealer relationships now sit with the same executive as new-car sales. That's consistent with Bugatti's push to support older cars through La Maison Pur Sang, as with the one-off aluminum Veyron it just restored for a new owner.
