Aston Martin Valkyrie coupe sets an auction record: £2,761,250 in London
A single-owner Valkyrie coupe with 300 kilometers (about 186 miles) sold for £2,761,250 with fees at RM Sotheby's London sale on Oct 31, well above its £1,800,000 to £2,400,000 estimate. Magneto reports it as a new auction record for the model, and it beat the same sale's 2025 Valkyrie by more than £500,000.

An Aston Martin Valkyrie coupe sold for £2,761,250 including fees at RM Sotheby's London auction on Oct 31, 2026, clearing the top of its £1,800,000 to £2,400,000 estimate. Magneto, which covered the sale, called it a new world auction record for the model (Magneto; RM Sotheby's).
The car was Lot 124, chassis SCF4KRB45PGS70098, one of the 150 Valkyrie coupes built. It was supplied new in left-hand drive to a single owner in Japan in 2023, is titled as a 2024, and showed just 300 kilometers (about 186 miles) when it was cataloged (RM Sotheby's; Classic.com).
The car is finished in Zenith White with Midnight Blue accents and blue-tinted exposed carbon fiber.

Inside, the seat pads are trimmed in Blue Alcantara with Dark Knight Alcantara elsewhere.

The matte black magnesium wheels were a £40,000 option on their own.
A heavily optioned car
RM Sotheby's says the first owner's specification added almost £235,000 to the Valkyrie's original list price of £2,500,000 plus taxes. The car is finished in Zenith White with Midnight Blue accents and blue-tinted exposed carbon fiber, with an engine air intake whose colors were inspired by Mount Fuji. The matte black magnesium wheels alone cost £40,000. Inside are Blue and Dark Knight Alcantara and machined titanium steering-wheel switches. It came with its owner's folio, accessories case, Certificate of Conformity and charging cables, and the seller bought a three-year service plan in December 2024 (RM Sotheby's; Magneto).
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 that revs to about 11,100 rpm, helped by an electric motor; RM's catalog quotes 1,160 horsepower combined. The car is in the UK on a temporary import bond, so the buyer either exports it or pays UK VAT and import duty to keep it there (RM Sotheby's).
How it compares with earlier Valkyrie sales
Valkyries rarely come up at auction. These are the public sales in our records, all including buyer's premium:
Mar 2024:$3,070,625 for a 123-kilometer coupe at RM Sotheby's Dubai, the first Valkyrie offered at auction (lot).
Dec 2024:$2,648,750 for a 2022 coupe at RM Sotheby's Dubai (lot).
Nov 2025:£2,226,875 for a 2024 coupe at RM Sotheby's London (lot).
Nov 2025:CHF 2,706,250 for a 97-mile 2024 Spider at Broad Arrow Zurich (lot).
Aug 2026:$4,735,000 for an 85-mile 2024 Spider, one of 85 built, at RM Sotheby's Monterey (lot).
Oct 2026:£2,761,250 for this 300-kilometer coupe at RM Sotheby's London (lot).
Magneto puts the previous model record at £2,320,053, set at RM Sotheby's Dubai in 2024. The open Valkyrie Spider is a separate, rarer car, and the Monterey Spider sold for more in dollars, so this London price is best read as the high-water mark for the coupe (Magneto).
The sale itself was a big one. RM Sotheby's London grossed £36,550,950, with 56 of 64 lots sold, and the Valkyrie was the second-highest price of the night behind Ferrari's own £8,161,250 Daytona SP3 press car (Magneto). We covered that car in our Ferrari F50 and Daytona SP3 auction story.
Analysis
Our take: the coupe has found its feet
A year ago, the 2025 London car sold for about £2,200,000, below what a new Valkyrie cost once options and taxes were added. This one brought about £535,000 more in the same room. On paper, the buyer paid about what the first owner's car cost before taxes: £2,500,000 plus almost £235,000 of options, against a £2,761,250 sale price with fees. That's a big change from late 2024 and 2025, when coupes were selling below their original cost.
Some of that premium is the car, not the market. It had one owner, only 300 kilometers, a full Ultimate Personalisation specification and recent service cover, which is close to the best a buyer can find. The 2025 London car and the December 2024 Dubai car show what more ordinary examples have brought.
What it means for buyers
If you want a Valkyrie coupe, the best-specified, lowest-mileage cars now look like £2,500,000-plus cars in the UK, and sellers will point to this result. Few cars come up for sale: in our US dealer tracking on Nov 2, one 156-mile 2024 coupe was listed by O'Gara Coach in Beverly Hills on Hemmings, with the price on request (listing). Asking prices are not sales, and spec and mileage move Valkyrie prices a lot, so compare like with like. Keep in mind that coupe and Spider prices are different markets.
A 106-mile 1997 F50 sold for $18,705,000 with fees in Las Vegas on Oct 31, the most ever paid for the model at auction. The same day, an 81-mile Daytona SP3 brought $18,540,000 there, while Ferrari's own 2,948-mile SP3 press car sold for £8,161,250 in London.
Horacio Pagani pulled the cover off the Huayra 70 Anima at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas on Oct 31, 2026. It's a one-off built for a single owner and the third and last of the cars marking his 70th birthday. It's finished in two shades of blue over exposed carbon and has a seven-speed manual. Pagani hasn't published power figures or a price.
Aston Martin has taken the roof off the Valhalla. The Spider keeps the coupe's 1,064 hp plug-in hybrid V8 and 217 mph top speed, even with the roof stowed, but costs a lot more: UK reports put it around £1.3 million. About 250 will be built, most are already spoken for, and deliveries start in the second half of 2027.
