About the F8 Tributo
The F8 Tributo is Ferrari's celebration of its mid-engined V8 lineage, and the name says it all: 'tributo' means tribute. Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the successor to the 488, it pays homage to 45 years of Ferrari's mid-engined V8s. It uses the engine from the track-focused 488 Pista, a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 720 PS, which made it the most powerful V8 Ferrari of its time. Ferrari quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h. Nods to the past include quad tail lamps, last seen on the F430, and a louvred engine cover made from lightweight Lexan. Its software also got smarter, with the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer now available in Race mode. With the most powerful V8 Ferrari had built and a design full of tributes, the F8 Tributo is a meaningful car for enthusiasts.
