The Aventador SV Roadster gave buyers the Superveloce's extra power and aero with the sky overhead. It was unveiled at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, a few months after the coupe, and uses the same 750 PS 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12. The roof is a light two-piece carbon fiber hardtop that stows in the trunk. Weight-saving work brought it down to 1,575 kg, 50 kg lighter than the standard Aventador Roadster. US price at launch was $530,075. Deliveries began in early 2016, and production was limited to 500 cars, 100 fewer than the SV coupe, before the line ended in 2017.
