The first-generation Ford GT was Ford’s modern take on the GT40 that won Le Mans four years in a row, 1966 to 1969. Ford built 4,038 across the 2005 and 2006 model years (2,027 and 2,011). It has a 550 hp supercharged 5.4-liter V8 behind the seats and a six-speed manual. Mileage matters most, and near-zero-mile cars sell at the top of the market. The 2006 Heritage edition in Gulf blue and orange is the most wanted version, with only 343 built. Options such as BBS wheels, stripes and the McIntosh stereo add a little on top.
